Bali boudoir photographer for hotel rooms, villa pools and empty beaches

A Bali boudoir photoshoot with us is private and fully directed. You set the limits, we tell you exactly how to move, and the setting does half the work: a hotel room, a villa pool at first light, a rice field before anyone else arrives, or a studio in Canggu. You bring the outfits, we plan the rest.

Your photos, your call

Your files are yours. If you would rather nothing ends up online, it doesn't, and if you are happy to share a few, you pick which ones.

One male photographer from our team shoots your session, and you get his name before you pay. It's just him and you, plus anyone you choose to bring.

Where we shoot boudoir on this island

Bali gives us four kinds of setting, and each one produces a different gallery. We pick with you during planning, and most clients combine two in a single booking.

Hotel and villa rooms. The bigger the room and the more furniture in it, the more setups we get. A four-poster bed, a daybed, a bathtub, a wide window and a mirror already give us five distinct spots without anyone leaving the floor.

Private villa pools and jacuzzis. Water changes the whole mood of a shoot. Wet hair, a robe half on, the step down into the pool at first light. We choose villas that are fully enclosed, so nobody walks past.

Outdoors, in places nobody goes. Empty beaches on the east and north coasts, rice fields inland from Ubud, and waterfalls that require a walk down. We plan these around crowds, tides and gate opening times, so you arrive before the crowds do.

Studio, for an extra fee. When the weather turns or you want full control over the light, we book Nomada Studio or Bali Arts District, both in Canggu. Both have indoor sets and outdoor corners, so one booking still gives you variety.

What a Bali boudoir photoshoot actually involves

  1. You tell us the date and what you're comfortable wearing. Lingerie, robes, a sheet, a swimsuit by the pool. You draw the line before we start and we shoot inside it.
  2. We plan the setting. Your room, a villa pool or somewhere outdoors. We tell you what to book, or what to look for in the listing photos, while you can still change it.
  3. We coordinate hair and makeup. Cherish does hair and makeup with us regularly. Natasya styles when you want pieces sourced rather than packed.
  4. We shoot with direction all the way through. You are told where to put your hands, your chin and your weight. Nobody is left standing there guessing.
  5. We edit and send a private online gallery link. Three days as standard, or 24 hours with express editing.

Other sessions we shoot

What clients said afterward

I almost cancelled twice. Then Andi asked me to send the villa listing and came back with a note saying the bedroom faced west and we should shoot after 4pm, not morning like I'd planned. That one email told me he'd actually thought about it. Photos landed before my flight home. I've printed two.

Marlein, Netherlands

booked this for myself after a divorce, which felt ridiculous at the time and doesn't now. the editing is what got me, skin looks like skin, nothing plasticky, no weird smoothing. asked for one image to be darker and it came back an hour later. worth every rupiah honestly

Tuuli, Finland

We did the four-hour one. Room in the morning, pool after lunch, then a beach near Amed that I would never have found. My husband came along and mostly carried bags. Small warning: bring more hair ties than you think. The wind out there is no joke and nobody tells you that.

Questions before you book

Can I be photographed nude, or is it lingerie only?

Implied nude is common. Anything beyond that, we agree on before the day rather than deciding in the moment.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, bring whoever you like.

Do hotels in Bali allow this kind of session?

Most are fine with a private session inside your own room, but policies vary, mostly around outside photographers. Check with the hotel when you book. Pools, lobbies and other shared areas usually need permission, so we plan around them.

What time of day should I book?

Outdoor spots need 6:00 to 8:00am, before the beaches fill and the light goes flat. Rooms run best from 3:30pm onward. A four-hour booking can cover both ends of the day with a break in between.

Will I be sweating?

Probably, and it photographs fine. Run the air conditioning hard for an hour before we arrive, keep a hand towel off-camera, and skip body shimmer, which turns patchy in humidity.

How do I fly home with these photos?

Download the gallery to a laptop rather than a phone, and keep it off shared cloud folders and family devices.

Do you shoot couples boudoir?

Yes. Direction shifts toward hands, weight and proximity rather than solo posing, and it works best with two hours or more.

What if it rains, or I need to move the date?

If rain hits an outdoor session, we can wait up to an hour, move to another day, or cancel with your deposit refunded. Your choice. For any other change, give us 48 hours' notice and your deposit moves to the new date.
