Bali has two seasons, and both can work well depending on what you are after.
Dry Season (April - October): Warm, soft golden-hour light in the late afternoon and generally clear skies. This is the most popular season for outdoor sessions.
Wet Season (November - March): Mornings tend to be clearer, with rain more likely in the afternoon. We can plan your session timing around this together.
Travel Time: Bali is larger than it looks, so factor in extra time between locations, especially around Canggu and Ubud during peak hours.
We shoot on a Fujifilm X-H2 with fast prime lenses, plus a drone for aerial frames.
We create videos and reels using our camera or a gimbal-stabilized setup, and capture drone footage for locations like Nusa Penida.
Rain in Bali is usually brief, especially outside the wet season. We can wait until it passes, or reschedule the session to another time or day.
We are based in Tabanan, between Canggu and Ubud, and shoot across Bali including Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Sidemen, and Seminyak. We also travel further afield to Gili, Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Sumba, and other parts of Indonesia when a shoot calls for it. Make us an offer with an inquiry and we will be happy to answer it.
We give you something to pay attention to besides the camera, because genuine interaction photographs better than confidence ever does. We will guide you through the whole session.
Everything that makes you look and feel confident will work well for a session. We recommend lightweight, breathable materials given Bali's climate.
Temples: If you want to shoot at a temple, cover your shoulders and legs, and be mindful of local customs while photographing.
We will meet at an agreed location. Between spots we typically use a private car or scooter depending on the route, the cost of which can be discussed at booking.
Yes, and for longer sessions we recommend it. Bring a small bag for easier carrying, and we will try to find a changing space at each location.

Yes. We offer indoor studio photoshoots in Bali covering business headshots, families, maternity, and portraits.
We work with a small circle of trusted collaborators: makeup artist Cherish, stylist Natasya, and gowns from Michelle Ann Bridal. Raditya, who joined Wildaya in 2023, also shoots alongside Andi on larger sessions.
These services are available exclusively for Wildaya photoshoots and can be added during booking.
